Machine Mean Press

Machine Mean Press is a subsidiary of Machine Mean, a review site dedicated to macabre movie and book reviews. The added “press” is our exploration into the murky but exciting world of publishing. Over the coming weeks (months perhaps), this page will feature some of those fruits. Our first project will be an anthology titled “The Things From Another World,” featuring stories from popular indie authors based on the works of John C. Campbell’s “Who Goes There?” Christian Nyby’s “The Thing From Another World,” and John Carpenter’s 1982 masterpiece “The Thing.”

This will be a paid publication. Details are still being hashed out, so stay tuned for an open submission call.
